Allsteel Brings a Bit of NeoCon to Boston's A&D Community - July 2009
Allsteel Inc. brought a slice of NeoCon to Boston last week with a mini-expo dubbed "NeoCont'd: Boston" (NeoCon-tinued). Despite a torrential summer downpour, more than 350 architects and designers gathered to view a host of "new from NeoCon" products at the Allsteel/Gunlocke Resource Center.
Allsteel Honored With 2009 Green GOOD DESIGN Award - June 2009
Allsteel Inc. has earned a 2009 Green GOOD DESIGN Award from The European Center for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and The Chicago Anthenaeum. Allsteel was honored in the Corporations category for its lean and "green" manufacturing that incorporates more sustainable solutions into its internal system of Rapid Continuous Improvement. RCI helps Allsteel reduce its environmental footprint by streamlining the manufacturing process, thus minimizing waste and its use of natural resources.
